About the Role

Seeking an enthusiastic and motivated Junior Hotel Manager to support the daily operations of a luxury resort and restaurant. This position is ideal for an emerging hospitality professional with leadership potential who is eager to grow into a senior management role.

The Junior Hotel Manager will work closely with senior leadership to ensure exceptional guest experiences, efficient operations, and high service standards across all departments.


Key Responsibilities

 

 

 

Hotel Operations

  • Assist with the day-to-day management of hotel and restaurant operations.
  • Monitor front office, housekeeping, maintenance, food & beverage, and guest services.
  • Ensure guests receive exceptional customer service throughout their stay.
  • Handle guest concerns professionally and resolve service issues promptly.
  • Maintain cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards across the property.

 

 

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and support department supervisors and hotel staff.
  • Assist with employee scheduling and daily work assignments.
  • Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff training.
  • Promote teamwork, accountability, and excellent customer service.

 

 

Financial & Administrative Support

  • Assist in monitoring departmental budgets and operating expenses.
  • Support inventory management and purchasing processes.
  • Review daily operational reports and occupancy performance.
  • Assist with payroll preparation, record keeping, and administrative reporting.

 

 

Guest Experience

  • Ensure smooth check-in and check-out procedures.
  • Monitor guest satisfaction and respond to feedback.
  • Coordinate concierge services, tours, and guest activities.
  • Help create memorable guest experiences that encourage repeat business.

 

 

Systems & Technology

  • Operate and support the Property Management System (WebRezPro).
  • Assist with the Lightspeed Point of Sale (POS) system.
  • Maintain accurate reservations, billing, and operational records.

 

 

Compliance & Property Standards

  • Ensure compliance with hotel policies, health and safety regulations.
  • Support preventative maintenance programs with the Maintenance Department.
  • Assist with implementing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).

 

 


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Masters Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Tourism, or a related field preferred.
  • 6–10 years of experience in hotel, resort, or hospitality operations.
  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience is an asset.
  • Experience in luxury hospitality is highly desirable.
  • Experience with hotel property management systems is preferred.
