We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Line Cook to join our kitchen team. The ideal candidate is someone who can work efficiently under pressure, maintain high food standards, and ensure consistency in every dish served.
Responsibilities
- Prepare, cook, and plate menu items according to recipes and standards
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation at all times
- Assist in daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, and measuring ingredients
- Follow proper food safety, hygiene, and storage practices
- Communicate effectively with chefs, servers, and other kitchen staff
- Ensure portion control and minimize waste
- Help with receiving and storing deliveries
- Perform closing and opening duties as assigned
- Uphold kitchen rules, discipline, and professionalism at all times
Requirements
- Previous experience as a line cook or kitchen assistant preferred
- Basic understanding of kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques
- Ability to work quickly, follow instructions, and stay focused during rush periods
- Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Good personal hygiene and punctuality are essential
- Ability to stand for long periods and perform physically demanding tasks
