A dynamic and fast-paced company that serves a diverse portfolio of clients is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented, and experienced Accounting Manager to lead our accounting operations. This is a unique opportunity  to join a growing team in a critical leadership role where precision, efficiency, and strategic oversight are key.

 

About the Role:

The Accounting Manager will oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, manage a team of accounting professionals, and ensure that financial reporting and compliance standards are met across all client  accounts. The ideal candidate has proven experience handling complex, multi-entity accounting functions, thrives in a deadline-driven environment, and demonstrates strong leadership capabilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the accounting team’s workflow across multiple clients and business types.
  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Manage accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger functions.
  • Oversee month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws, financial regulations, and company policies.
  • Work closely with external auditors and manage audit preparations.
  • Develop and implement accounting policies and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting efforts for both internal and client-facing projects.
  • Provide mentorship, training, and performance evaluations for accounting staff.

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum 12 years managerial experience in accounting.
  • Minimum 7 years working with QuickBooks accounting software ( desktop and online).
  •  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is preferred (CPA or CMA designation a plus).
  • Experience in a multi-client or multi-entity environment is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
  • Bi-lingual in written and spoken English and Spanish.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines effectively.
