Job Description
Scope & Reporting:
The Distillery QHSE Team Leader plays a crucial role in the distillery functions. Responsibilities are in the area of Quality – Health and Safety – Environment. He / She is reporting directly to Distillery Director and it is coordinating a Team of 5 FTEs.

Responsibilities include:
- Coordinate the Quality Team and the internal Laboratory for the execution in time of all the required chemical and packaging analysis.
- Manage, in accordance with Distillery Director guide, the internal Quality Plan and all the procedures related to Quality, Health and Safety and Environment.
- Perform periodical QHSE internal audit with the aim to support the continuous improvement process in the area of QHSE.
- Manage internally the product complaint from market and work with the middle management team to improve the Quality Standards.
- Manage the relationship between the Distillery and the Organic certification body (ECOCERT) for assuring that Organic certification can be renewed without non-conformity.
- Overview and perform GC Analysis on the distillates.
- Perform sensory evaluations and be part of the internal sensory panel.
- Make statistical analysis to identify quality, safety and environmental trends and to prevent nonconformity.
- Be able to perform chemical and packaging analysis

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ideal candidate must have at least 2 years of previous experience in chemical laboratory or as Quality Leader in industrial companies (possible in the Food and Beverage sector). He / She is a curious approach and a natural propension for details and achieving results. He / She is an independent person with the capacity to work in Team and to coordinate the Teamwork inside QHSE department.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:
He / She is a university graduated individual with study in Chemistry, Physics, Science and Technology.
