Job Overview
As a Customer Support & Business Operations Officer at TBSL, you will play a critical role in accounting, sales, customer support, marketing, managing key business functions, and uncovering new opportunities in a dynamic and collaborative work environment. In this role, you will build lasting relationships through interaction with our customers, partners, and Esri, the global leader in Geographic Information System (GIS) software, location intelligence, and mapping. You will gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge tools and grow professionally while contributing to impactful projects across different industries and sectors in Belize.

 

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage all order-related activities for customers from quotation to delivery
• Monitor licenses, maintenance, and entitlements for each customer
• Maintain customer account information in portals and databases
• Process accounts receivable, accounts payable, procurements, and statutory payments
• Maintain and update software applications and portals
• Perform bank reconciliations
• Create and maintain a variety of documents to support project management and sales forecasting
• Maintain good relationships with customers and clients and develop new relationships when opportunities present themselves
• Assist the Operations Manager in planning, organizing, and coordinating functions relating to the operation of the business
• Participate in team projects and contribute to company goals

 

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or related field
• Minimum of three (3) years of relevant work experience Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
• Excellent customer service and marketing skills
• Ability to use resources to research issues and handle complex customer inquiries
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, QuickBooks, and other software and portals
• Strong prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills with high attention to detail
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
• High level of self-initiative with the ability to work well under pressure
• Able to work effectively with minimal supervision
• Strong quantitative, analytical, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
• Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with customers, key stakeholders, and leadership through email, documentation, and presentations
• Ability to keep up to date with the ICT industry’s best practices and standards
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Ability to foster a cooperative work environment
