Job Description
Working under direct supervision of the Warehouse Coordinator in the warehouse and Head Checker/Dispatcher for deliveries.
Core Duties:
- Assist the Warehouse Coordinator in stock control at the warehouse
• marking all cartons/pallets from incoming shipments
• putting away received shipments
• stock-taking in the warehouse
• organizing warehouse
• reporting damaged/incomplete products to WC
• assisting with order picking in the warehouse
• assisting with general daily and monthly inspections
• driving of the forklift to assist in moving stock around in the warehouse/store.
• adhering to all warehouse safety policies, including forklift safety procedures.
• storage and basic maintenance of warehouse equipment
• working closely with store clerks for their assistance with warehouse organization and cleanliness
Other Duties:
Assisting with truck deliveries as needed
• responsible for overseeing the loading/unloading of delivery truck
• responsible for delivery sideman when on deliveries
• delivering goods to customers as per Dispatcher’s instructions
• handling of invoices/other paperwork on deliveries
• receiving/reporting returns and any other customer issues back to the office
• responsible for frequent check up/maintenance of delivery truck
• other related tasks as set by supervisors
